October 11-15 in Sochi, in the Congress Center of the hotel Radisson Blu Resort held an international scientific-practical conference EKOTON: "Technologies and equipment for the water industry."

The scientific part of the conference, Nikolay Bolshakov Chief Process Engineer GSP-Project Ltd, Ph. D., Associate Professor made a presentation. Theme of presentation: "Minimizing the cost of the modernization and improvement of energy efficiency of the work of urban sewage treatment plants". The report addressed issues of minimizing the cost of upgrading facilities of the biological treatment of municipal wastewater. The basic technology of deep biological treatment of urban waste water from organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus, as well as necessary for their realization advanced pumping, mixing, aeration and blower equipment.
