The world’s first premium-efficiency submersible sewage pumps
The Sulzer submersible sewage pump XFP was the first pump with a submersible motor meeting the premium-efficiency IE3 standard. Today it still leads the field for reliability and energy performance, thanks especially to new advances in the Contrablock Plus impeller technology, specifically engineered to handle today’s tough wastewater.
With its premium-efficiency IE3 motor (in accordance with the IEC 60034-30 standard), the ABS submersible sewage pump XFP sets a new standard for the wastewater industry. Yet the motor is only one of its many remarkable characteristics. The pump is a complete, highly engineered package whose design takes into account all aspects of wastewater handling.
Presenting the Multi-Vane Contrablock Plus
Our single-vane Contrablock Plus impeller set high new standards for wastewater blockage protection: free solids passage of 75 mm (3 inches) and discharge of 80% of entering fibrous material without cutting. Now multi-vane Contrablock Plus impellers deliver the same performance up to 400 kW (536 HP) / DN400 (16 inch). Like nothing seen before, their radical design was created with advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for outstanding hydraulic efficiency. As part of the equally efficient ABS submersible sewage pump XFP, they’re your best assurance of worry-free pumping.
